Anne had been disappointed to miss the leopards on two occasions, so she decided to join us this morning. Unfortunately we didn't get to travel as far as we would have expected as we experienced our first ever puncture! Considering the state of the roads/tracks and the tyres we'd been lucky up to now, so we couldn't really complain. |
| EWe'd come to expect giraffe just outside the lodge, but this was a nice shot of a mother and her baby. |
F As we drove up the main track towards Sekanani Gate I spotted this elephant from afar, up by the Keekerok road. We didn't see much in between. |

EI'd been keeping my eye on this herd of Hartebeest while the driver was changing the wheel. They had always paid a lot of attention in this direction - for some 20-30 minutes. So I was sure there was some predator loose, but hadn't spotted anything even though the area was exposed, except for the length of the grass. |

The giraffe and baboon were just outside the lodge as we returned for breakfast. |
