This was our final safari on this trip and as we had to get to the airfield we couldn't travel far. |
| EThe driver brought us to this pool that is 'owned' by the local Masai tribe, who charge for viewing. The pool is just outside the park so I suppose this is a legitimate business.
The duty Masai warrior awoke the hippos for us to get these shots by slapping the water with his stick and 'barking' at them..  |

 EWe'd seen this monitor lizard a few times. The lodge bait the far bank to encourage scavengers, but usually it's the mongoose that takes this. |
