I think by the time we had * Aruba the driver had concluded the safari was over, so our passage to Buchuma Gate was quite quick. Although we were tired some us still stayed on top wanting the most out of the safari, especially as the day before was such a disappointment. |
 The zebra were seen just South of Aruba.
We'd seen ostrich in this area on many occasions, but this is a magnificent specimen. |

This region is where we've seen Coke's Hartebeest most often. Notice that it is standing head towards the sun. This is deliberate to keep it cooler in the midday sun, as less of its' body is directly exposed to the sunlight.
Again this looks like a bird of prey, possibly from the Goshawk family but I haven't been able to identify it yet.  |
