Male Impala Impala family
G
We hadn't seen many Impala in this region before. This family were simply grazing with the male keeping an eye on everything.
Masai Giraffe

Giraffe and elephants are common in the area so we weren't too surprised to see them as they are both easy to spot. Notice the bird on the giraffe's back. It is probably tolerated as it eats ticks and other bugs keeping the host healthy.
Masai Giraffe
Elephants

Elephant however, may only be seen from a distance disappearing into the bush and quite often termite mounds are mistaken for them.
